JURAJ FILAS: Oratio Spei (Requiem) (U.S. Premiere)

Ten years ago, the world grieved with Americans after the tragic September 11th attacks. This moving tribute to the victims of terrorism, written by one of the Czech Republic's most important composers of our time, is a setting of the traditional Requiem text on par with the dramatic scale and emotional scope of the Verdi Requiem.
